Christmas Celebration #1

Our first Christmas celebration of the season was at Nana Diana's house on December 23. Pappy Steve could not be with us as he is still working overseas and can only come home every few months. We had pizza and opened presents. This same group will reconvene as part of a larger celebration on Christmas morning, but this smaller gathering gave Brooke, Peyton, & Abby a chance to open their presents from Nana and each other with substantially less chaos.

Brooke is 9, so she played the role of Santa and passed out the gifts. This gift is from Nana to the newest cousin, Brody Christian, who is due to arrive in May. Brody will even the score at two girls and two boys for the extended family of cousins, but will give boys the upper hand in Uncle Tim & Aunt Amy's household.


Peyton, 5, gave us the highlights from his first piano recital that we weren't able to attend last week. Very cute & very impressive for a five year old.
